Benedict was a Christian monk of the seventh or eighth century in France, brought into the Blood by Rhoshamandes around the year A.D. 800. Benedict is the vampire from whom the alchemist Magnus stole the Blood, a theft described in The Vampire Lestat. Appears in Prince Lestat and Prince Lestat and the Realms of Atlantis as Rhoshamandes’s companion and lover."
