Blood Communion (2018) is the thirteenth and final novel in The Vampire Chronicles, and is a sequel to the prior novel, Prince Lestat and the Realms of Atlantis. The story concludes the conflict between Lestat and Rhoshamandes that began in Prince Lestat, and is the de facto conclusion of the series, being the last canonical work published by Anne Rice in The Vampire Chronicles. The story also further explores the creation of and workings of the Court and its headquarters at Chateau de Lioncourt in Auvergne.
