Doris Williamson, born Emma Stevens, is a main character on the AMC gothic horror drama, Talamasca: The Secret Order. Doris is portrayed by Céline Buckens.[1]
Biography[]
Early life[]
After the death of their parents, Alfred and Teresa Stevens, Emma Stevens and her sister, Fiona, were taken by the Talamasca to be tested for special abilities. Emma, having the ability of an extremely detailed memory, was separated from Fiona. Reading books held at the Talamasca Headquarters, Emma gained an immense knowledge of information that the Talamasca had gathered. One day, the books and information were destroyed, a perfect copy remaining in Emma's memories.
Life as a Vampire[]
In 1985, Houseman directed a vampire named Alexander to turn Emma into a vampire, albeit a weak one, in order to keep the information in her memory eternally. Emma later escaped the Talamasca and took the name Doris Williamson.[2] She became close to and became the mother figure and protector of Kevis Papadouris.
When Kevis is killed by Archie, Doris takes the book that was in Kevis's possession, a scrapbook of their memories together, and kills Archie. Doris runs into Guy Anatole at Kevis's memorial, and warns him to be wary of the Talamasca.
Powers and abilities[]
Doris is a weak vampire, but otherwise has the powers and abilities of vampires in the Immortal Universe.
