Guy Anatole is a main character on the AMC gothic horror drama, Talamasca: The Secret Order. He is portrayed by Nicholas Denton.[1]
Guy is brilliant, handsome and sharp on the surface, but he’s always known his mind works a little differently. On the cusp of graduating law school, he is approached by a representative of the Talamasca, a secretive agency that monitors and protects us from the supernatural world.
When Guy learns that the Talamasca has been tracking him since his childhood, he falls headlong into a world of secret agents and immortal beings who, up to now, have maintained a fragile balance with the mortal world. But for that balance to hold, and for Guy to survive, he will have to learn to embrace the dark, treacherous depths of his true and singular self.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Guy Anatole had a turbulent childhood. His father abandoned him before he was even born, and his mother disappeared from his life when he was nine. Guy was under the false belief that she was dead most of his life.
Adolescence[]
During his time with the Anatole's, Guy would go on to go to one of the best public schools in Detroit. He was granted a full scholar to The University of Pennsylvania, and went on to finish his Law Degree at New York University.
Sometime during his adolescence he developed a reliance on pills to dull his powers.
Law School[]
Guy Anatole went to law school at New York University.
Unlike his peers, Guy Anatole never went to the Hamptons nor had an internship with any firm during the summers. Rather, he worked at the Law Library because part of his scholarship requirement was working at the school.
Fleeing from Jasper[]
When Guy and Doris were on the run from Jasper, the two played the board game Sorry! together. As they played, they discussed the backgrounds of their chosen aliases, James and Julia, respectively.[2]
Powers and abilities[]
Telepathy: Guy Anatole has the ability to hear others thoughts, an ability he seems unable to fully turn off. Instances of usage are often accompanied by a ringing sound, implying using his ability is strenuous.
