Immortal Universe

The Immortal Universe is a television franchise created by AMC and based on the novels created by the late gothic/horror writer, Anne Rice. The first, in a multi-series, centuries-spanning saga, Interview with the Vampire, premiered on October 2, 2022, on AMC and AMC+.[1]

On May 13, 2020, AMC Networks announced that they had acquired the rights to Anne Rice's literary works, The Vampire Chronicles series and Lives of the Mayfair Witches series, encompassing a total of 18 titles, featuring Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat, The Queen Of The Damned, The Tale of the Body Thief, Memnoch the Devil, The Vampire Armand, Pandora, Vittorio the Vampire, Blood and Gold, Prince Lestat, Prince Lestat and the Realms of Atlantis, Blood Communion: A Tale of Prince Lestat, The Witching Hour, Lasher, Taltos, Merrick, Blackwood Farm and Blood Canticle.[2]

Prior to her passing in December 2021, Anne and her son Christopher Rice were both set to serve as executive producers on all series and films produced.[2]
