Biography[]
Approaching Molloy[]
Raglan approaches Daniel Molloy in a Dubai café after learning of his interview with Louis de Pointe du Lac and Armand. He and the Talamasca were tracking 900 vampires a month ago, now they're tracking 1,600. The Great Conversion is happening. Molloy is not the first to attempt this. He could give Molloy the name of others who have, but they're all dead or undead. Raglan tells Molloy that files have been placed on his laptop, most are primary sources, but Molloy isn't buying what he's selling and begins to make a scene within the café, forcing Raglan to make an abrupt exit.[1]
Raglan joins Molloy and Rashid at the lounge, revealing that Rashid is an agent. Molloy asks how big is the Talamasca and who funds them, but the real reason he's asked Raglan to come is for protection, as he fears Armand, but Raglan tells Molloy that he should fear Louis. Raglan offers to help Molloy get his book published when all is said and done, but in return, Raglan's superiors have a few hundred questions they would like for him to weave into his interview.[2]
