Sam Reid is an Australian actor. He portrays Lestat de Lioncourt in the AMC gothic horror drama, Interview with the Vampire.
Biography[]
Earlier in his career, Sam went by the name of Sebastian Reid. After graduating from school, Reid briefly lived in New York before moving to London to study in acting. He graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), and in 2007 got his first role in All Saints, but he first gained notoriety for his role in Anonymous. In 2017, he landed a role in the period drama Belle after Sam Claflin dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. He's also known for The Astronaut Wives Club, Prime Suspect: Tennison, Lambs of God, and The Newsreader.
