The Théâtre des Vampires is a theater and vampire coven located in Paris. The theater was co-founded by Lestat, presumably with Armand. Originally based in a larger theater, by the 1940s they are working out of a smaller theater and use projections in their performances. Performing nightly with a mixture of performances in French and performances in English for the post-war tourists, the theater kidnaps and kills a human onstage each night, disposing of their bodies via a system using starving rats.
Led by Armand, the theater follows the Great Laws, and has a curfew. Some members of the theater were involved in the theater world as humans, but possibly not all. The coven lives and sleeps in the basement dressing room.
